Tricia Wharton received a B.A. from the University of South Carolina, and received a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1985. She was chosen by the Supreme Court of South Carolina to be a Bridge the Gap speaker on Real Estate Law from 1990 to 1992. She has also spoken at Continuing Legal Education seminars sponsored by the South Carolina Bar Association, as well as Continuing Professional Education seminars for Certified Public Accountants. She served as Chairman of the Richland County Bar Association Register of Deeds and Clerk of Court Committee from 1988-90. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, Inc. She is a member of the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
